 | Verification emails |  | | For sometime now new users of the CoV website have been having issues of their verification emails not being sent or showing up in their email boxes. As a result we have turned off the verification system until we can find the problem.

| Website Maintenance | | | The website will be receiving some minor upgrades for security purposes. I'm hoping there will be no downtime but be prepared just incase.
Also the news feeds has finally been fixed. Not sure why it was down in the first place but I'm sure it has something to do with http://www.wow.com taking over WoW Insider. This is where we get our automatic news feeds. The news feed can be seen at the bottom of our page.

| Promotion/Demotion and guild apps | | | Some of you may have been demoted or some of you are due for a promotion but haven't got it yet. It is because you have not filled out a guild application yet. Some of you have come to me and said "yes I have" but people are getting confused as to what a guild application is. Like I say in all my ads when I recruit someone is go to our site, sign up, activate your account, then (and heres the key) clik on the Join Cavaliers of Virtue link in our main menu. This will bring you to the guild application page with a bunch more questions. So if you are one of these people that have not been promoted yet and are due (after 30 days of being a recruit) or you have a note in your "public note" that says "no guild app yet", which is under the guild tab in the social pane of the game then click here.
For officers and Vetrans, when recruiting someone be sure to tell them all this. Also someone is recruiting people and not putting the join date in the officer note. We NEED this for promotion reasons. It would also be nice if you put your name in that note too so we know who recruited that person. For example: "Added by Spartagus 06/15/09" is perfect!

| Mail Scam BEWARE! | | | There is a mail scam going on again in our realm. It is asking you to go to a website to check out a guild video. Do NOT go to it. This is a fake mail and will most likely install a key logger which will result in your account getting hacked. Instead open the mail and click the "Report Spam" button. Here is a screen shot of the mail. Notice it says Dazlin sent it? He didn't though. Look at the "I" in his name. Its a funny looking "I". Here is a link to a post about it in the WoW forums
